This is our way to stay in touch as I take on a new and exciting adventure in montreal.

My girlfriend and I took an online flower arranging class with the amazing Chelsea Fuss from Frolic. She is a commercial florist and prop stylist who is known for her effortless style and natural esthetic. The four week course had us tackling a different flower project each week, following along with a detailed video , written material and a recipe guide for our homework assignments. Photos of each project were posted in a gallery for comments and feedback.
By far one of my most favourite falls.. leaf peeping in Vermont, a coastal drive in Nova Scotia, cranberry picking, an Egyptian feast and a thirtieth birthday celebration.

This summer I’ve had lots of backyard and patio envy. I’ve been paying attention and learning from people who put thought into making their little outdoor space theirs, whether it includes potted flowers, hanging plants, fairy lights or patio furniture.
This year I’ve been loving overgrown ivy, it looks great when it practically overtakes a balcony and cascades down the brick facade.

What a great summer it has been so far! We recently had my brother, sister in law and little nephew in town visiting us so we’ve had lots of great family time and adventures. What’s not to like when there are birthday parties, board games, bike rides, pool time, ice cream, shadow puppets during a power outage, birthday pie and battleship!

I came across this beautiful wedding in South Africa and couldn’t help but share it. This couple is so sweet, you can feel all of the love and support beaming out of the pictures. These breathtaking photos were taken by the very talented Love Made Visible. I wish they were a little closer to Canada! All of the photos can be found here.
